Alice in Chains are taking off one year from now.

The band reported the initial dozen dates of a more extended North American tour that is set to start next April. You can look at their present schedule beneath.

The group has likewise demonstrated that their new album is up and coming, with bassist Mike Inez recently telling the Let There Be Talk podcast that “We’re going back home to do a record, truly. The last two [albums] were [recorded] in L.A., and they were cool. I simply feel in 2017, it’s the ideal opportunity for Alice in Chains to backpedal to Seattle—drink that water, inhale that air. My Heart family’s up there.”

“There’s simply such a history,” he proceeded. “Each street corner for us is a memory; insane shit happened or some lovely stuff. Seattle’s an extremely extraordinary place, particularly this season. It’s the best.”
