Nepathya is the country’s greatest folk rock band of all time . Formed in the 90s’ by three college friends in Pokhara, the band is best known for their contemporary folk music songs having a western influence and are the most successful musical band of Nepal ever. They are the first one to have performed in the prestigious SSE Wembley Arena. With the band members changing on a regular basis, Amrit Gurung (the lead vocalist), being one of the permanent members, has been the band’s fuel for their fiery performances for more than two decades.
Nepathya has been entertaining us with non-stop quality music for 25 long years and guess what, this is their silver jublee year. With 25 and counting years in the music scenery, they still are on the quest of bringing out their best to the audiences.
