Dashain is our mightiest festival. It is a period we look forward to for the whole year. Celebrated as the day of victory of good over evil, Dashain falls in the month of Asoj and is celebrated for 15 long days starting from Ghatasthapana.
‘ Malashree Dhun’, the official Dashain tune as we know, is the theme music which creates a festive environment during Dashain. Here’s a video of Malashree Dhun performed by Dongol Brothers, who have started their musical journey at a very early age. Not bad for someone of their age!
