Kathmandu, on 19, September 2017, the top 12 contestants of Nepal Idol have left for Doha, Qatar to participate in the grand finale of the singing reality show. A team including director and technicians had left for the country earlier. The grand finale of the singing reality show has been scheduled to be held at Asian Town Amphitheater in Doha, Qatar on Friday September 22, 2017.

The top 12 contestants of the singing reality show telecasted from AP 1 HD Channel are Pratap Das, Nishan Bhattarai, Buddha Lama, Sagar Ale Magar, Sujata Pandey, Suraj Thapa, Sandhya Joshi, Ulson Shrestha, Pramila Rai, Rahul Bishwas, Menuka Poudel and Kengal Meher Shrestha left Nepal from the Tribhuvan International Airport on 19, September Tuesday morning.

The winner would be decided by viewer’s votes through the internet, telephone and text messages.The winner of the singing contest will get Mahindra KUV 100 car and cash prize of Rs two million as well as a music album contract worth Rs 1.5 million. The first runner-up and second runner-up of the show will be awarded with Rs 1.5 million and Rs one million respectively.

The finale will be shot with drones and 17 cameras and will be broadcasted live by AP1.
