Three local boys from Kathmandu got together and formed a band “Kathan” in 2005. The name “Kathan” defines the chapters of stories of love, frustration, anger, motivation and the phases of life that every individual goes through.
With Rupesh on vocal, Ashray on rhythm guitar and Ramesh Gurung on lead guitar, the band started to practice regularly. They composed a song “Sano Katha”, and it was recorded 8 years ago in Times FM. The band who like to call themselves “Kathakar” (storytellers) is planning on releasing a music video in the future soon.
