Prayaas is a five men band form Kathmandu. Band compromises of Birat Shrestha, Dinesh Shrestha, Nabin Lama (former Sound Cuddles & Sprite Band Challenge Season 2 Winner) and Pranil lama.They mostly cover Nepali and Hindi songs. The band has been performing in and around Kathmandu with weekly gigs at Fluid Bar, Factory, Trisara, Tamarind, Reef & many more.
Here is a cover of the song I’m Yours by the Prayaas band uploaded by M&S VMAG on youtube. They have given a new tinge and flavour to the song. The way the basuri is embedded in the song is really awesome. The song was originally sung by American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz. The song is from his third studio album –We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. The song is very much popular world wide.
