Suman Thapa, sometimes called Swoopna Suman is a well-known singer, songwriter, and guitarist in the Nepali music scene. He started his musical career in 2012 by uploading family videos to YouTube, which attracted Karma Records’ notice. K Saro Ramri Bhako, his first official song, was made available by the record company to Suman in 2014. In 2016, he joined Arbitrary Productions and went on to release a number of original songs, including Kurera Baschu, Ma Timro, and Kunai Din. Suman is currently employed independently and giving live performances both domestically and abroad. He has a devoted following both in Nepal and overseas thanks to his distinctive fusion of modern and traditional Nepali music.
