When it comes down to the six artists, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, and Sam Smith, who are tied for five VMA nominations each, the fight becomes more intense. Diddy, Blackpink, and Shakira are tied for first place with four each.
