Kathmandu- On 22nd June 2023, Arko Mukharjee and friends had performed live at Gantabya, Birtamode. It was an intimate evening of Nepali folk songs and originals. The show had started from 6pm onwards and the venue was New Kingbury Hotel/ New Bhatbhateni.
Originally from Calcutta, India, Arko Mukherjee is an international musician, music researcher, urban folk artist, and playback vocalist. He is also known by his stage name, Arko Mukhaerjee. He performs folk music in many languages, such as Bengali and Nepali.The artist plays five different instruments and can sing in more than 20 different languages. He performs folk songs as well as blues, soul, and several global tribal music genres.
