Kathmandu- On 10th May 2023, Sabin Rai & The Pharaoh performed at the newly opened, Penthouse Kathmandu. They started their show from 7:30pm.
In the band Sabin Rai on vocals, Nikesh Katwal, John Shrestha, Jeevan Lama, and Binod Lama Tamang play guitars, bass, and drums as Sabin Rai and The Pharoah. Due to his distinctive voice, Sabin Rai, a Nepali singer and lyricist, has been compared to Bryan Adams. The song “Komal Tyo Timro” from the album Sataha was his first hit single. Nevertheless, Sataha was not the first to release his song, “Ekai Aakash Muni.” He has given performances in several countries, including Australia, Hong Kong, the UK, the US, South Korea, Bahrain, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Denmark, and India. Rai is well-known for his stage appearances and the interest he generates in his older songs by singing in various styles. He now performs with his own group, Sabin Rai & The Pharaoh.
