Basically, western music has a great influence in the modern music scene in Nepal even rap, pop, rock and jazz. And making cover songs has increased highly at the present time. So, some cover songs turn out to be better than the original, and some to be worse. It depends on their performance and presentation of song style.

Anuprastha, a popular Nepali Rock Band, has been pretty active in the music scence for almost a decade now.
