Ankita Pun, a young and abundantly loved artist of Nepal has released her new single “Sakhi” off her debut album “Maili”. She with Purwanchal Rocks has been teasing about the track for quite a time now. She has already introduced us to her 2 songs from the album.
Char Din Char Jooni, her 1st release from her debut album is about the love and pure relationship between a girl and her pet. So pure lyrics and simply beautiful music video followed by her magical voice. Yet, the song did not get as much attention as it deserved.
But, her 2nd release, the title track “Maili” spread around so promptly. It is about the life of thousands of lahure families who have left their families and the sacrifices they make for them.
And “Sakhi”, is wildly soothing as we all are familiar with our dear batuli’s vocal magic is sound quite familiar to all of her releases and equally different at the same time.
