8th Fr. E.L. Watrin Memorial Cultural Award” and Survaahini, A Musical Bliss conducted by St. Xavier College is successfully concluded. Let’s look at the beautiful moment captured during the event.
The college has annually been conducting such events as a Remembrance to Fr. E.L. Watrin who died of pancreas cancer. Father had contributed more than 5 decades of his life to the betterment of the college and our nation.
The event was all about appreciating the pioneers of the Nepali music industries awarding them with cultural awards. The main motive of it is also to encourage the youth there towards classical music.
Likewise, this year the college Present an award to “Sambhujeet Baskota”. Legendary music composer and singer of the Nepali Film Industry who has contributed his talents to Nepal by composing thousands of songs, may it be film numbers, Bhajans, or folks.
Along with the award ceremony, different musical performances are presented by the students and some of the well-recognized artists from Nepal and India as well.
