Lets talk about Girish Khatiwada today, who is also consistently  adressed as the father of Nepali Hiphop.

Girish Khatiwada is a Nepalese rapper, radio and television presenter, and YouTuber who was born on August 30, 1979. He  sometimes referred to as one of Nepal’s first and most important rappers, and The Diplomat Magazine has dubbed him the “Godfather of Nephop.” Khatiwada began his career at the age of 15 with his first single, “Meaningless Rap,” in 1994, and rose to fame alongside Pranil Timalsena with songs like Timi Jaha Pani Jaanchhau, Malai Bhot Deu, and Hami Dherai Sana Chhu. Khatiwada is now one of Nepal’s most influential vloggers, in addition to his success in the Nepalese rap music scene.
Now he is one of the judge of the Nepal’s first rap reality show which really shows a lot about his consistency and effort for the promotion and development of Nepali Rap Industry.
