12 March 2020 was the day when a group of total mind-blowing artists collaborated in Bhandarkhal Garden and made an audience day magical. Hearing the name of the artist who performed itself we can make a guess how awesome the concert went.
Kutumba, Nepalese folk instrumental band that plays authentic Nepali instruments such as bamboo flutes, sarangi, madal, tungna, dhol, jhyamta, arbajoo, dhime, dhyangro, damphu, khin, and singing bowl and many more. They are per se most talented band we can find here and have been blessing our years for over 2 decades now.
Kali Prasad Baskota, a rather talented singer, songwriter, music composer, and whatnot. But mostly he is recognized for his songwriting amid Nepalese. He has given his words and voice to very famous Nepali numbers like Thamel Bazar, Nira, Jaalma, okhati, ajambari, which belong to very famous movies as well.
Sajja Chaulagain, a quite fierce singer who also is the winner of Nepal Idol Season 3. She was a very strong contestant and deserved a title in all ways. After bagging the title she has released a few singles of her like Gulab Sari, Sustari, and Praapti.
Dinesh Dhakal, whose debut single “Kalo Kesh Ma Reli Mai” spread like a wildfire in every social media medium. He is much loved by his followers nowadays and his presence was of course mandatory in such collaboration.
Plus instrumental teams like the Gharana violin team, flute team. And, few international instrumentalists like Eileen O’Neil on Cello, and Sun Mi Paik on Piano helped add more charm to the show. The event was conducted in a joint partnership with Artmandu and Patan Museum.
