A great platform for original singers “Beers N’ Cheers” is “Probably the only venue in town that actively seeks new artists.
Beers N’ Cheers (BNC) was initially started in 2015 by Parbat Thapa and a few others as a pub. After a few changes in owners finally, the pub was owned by Ritavraj Joshi, Prabat Thapa, and Karan Shrestha. Being a musician himself, Joshi decided the place to be the rescue site for original singers. Things have been great since then.
The pub is collecting a fund for expanding the area and adding more equipment and space for great gigs.

Beers N’ Cheers has always been a spot for original music. From its humble acoustic beginnings in 2017 – to carrying amps and drums every weekend (for 2 years straight) from Mr. Music Studio just to organize a gig – to now finally having its own backline, mixers and speakers.The struggle has been real and all of this has been done without any sponsor tieups or commercial contracts – but the journey has been beautiful as well. This is the power of the local music scene and originality per se and the lovely crowd that comes in each fateful night at this venue and making sure that the artists get the love and respect they deserve. From growing bands such as Jhilkey and the Company and kidsandheroes to international acts such as Daniel Waples and established names such as Arthur Gunn, Jerusha Rai, Gauley Bhai, ASM, Kaagaz, Cobweb, Bartika Eam Rai, DIwas Gurung, Topi and many more, this place is fortunate to have had hosted over 400 gigs of different spectrums!!
We now are expanding the area to comfortably accommodate a 200 stand-in crowd – enough for intimate but grand-er gigs with the most kickass sound you can imagine along with a green room for artist and an open backyard. With the latest mixers and inears already onboard, we want to make sure that the musicians always have a top-notch time playing just as the crowd will have the same when joining in. No matter the size – the philosophy of our place will always remain the same.And for this, we are currently doing our part – DIY as usual – but look forward to your help in fulfilling the remaining that includes
