The Nepali singing reality show “Nepal Star“, which is a national franchise was resumed a month ago. The show was halted due to the lockdown imposed by the Government of Nepal as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Before the resumption of the show, the audition rounds were completed and it was ready to begin Shadaz round. Despite the ongoing crisis, the showrunners continued with the show from the virtual medium via recorded video calls. On Saturday, episode 16 which is the fourth and final episode for the Shadaz round was aired.
Laxman Limbu ignited the series of the performances of the episode with the song “Chahe Maya Gara”.
The selected contestants from the episodes are Bobby Sunar (Nasha Maa – Reema Gurung Hoda), Arjun Pun Magar (Desh Le Ragat Maage – Gopal Yonjan), Sandesh Bomjan Lama (Meri Aama – Chrisma Abigail), Sunil BK (Timilai Ma K Bhanu – Narayan Gopal), Madan Magar (Yesto Pani Hudo Raichha – Fatteman Rajbhandari), Sanjay Rana Magar (Timro Nai Maya – Jhalak Man Gandharva), Shivam Bhandari (Na Aau Joon Kotha Maa – Manik Ratna), Sachi Khanal (Chautari Maa Basera – Aruna Lama), Laxman Limbu (Chahe Maya Gara – Cwa Lamichhane), Sarala BC (Kahan Kahan Dukhchha – Manila Sotang), Tirtha Shrestha (Kunai Din Pahad Maa – Mala Sinha), Prakash Ale Magar (Timi Jun Raharle – Narayan Gopal), Rupesh Bhandari (Shraddha Ko Phool – Narayan Gopal) and Kurban Ali (Lai Lai – Ketan Chettri).
