They released the audio of the song on YouTube on July 1, 2020. Recently, they posted the music video to the song as well.
Talking about the song, it delivers a message that everyone should stop feigning emotions and rather start showing their true faces. Amy Lee, the singer of the song, starts the song as “Had enough, I’ve really had enough, had enough of denial.” This shows the frustration of following other’s rules in the game. So, no more pretending is the theme for this song.
Evanescence is an American Rock band founded in 1995 by the singer and pianist Amy Lee and the former guitarist Ben Moody. At the formation of the band, they were just 13 and 14 years old respectively. Their last studio album was Synthesis which was an instrumental album. The band has been quite successful and has received 20 awards and 58 nominations till the current date.
