On 28th February, 2018, a Fundraiser Concert for Echoes in the Valley Music Festival happening at Curilo Apartments, Lazimpat. Echoes in the Valley (EITV) is a biennial music festival that takes place in Kathmandu, Nepal. The festival strives to uncover, revive and make relevant Kathmandu’s intangible heritages and disappearing sounds by showcasing local music, art, and performances of everyday rituals. It transforms small neighborhoods into grand stages for musical conversations between international and local artists.
Happening in the alternate years between EITV festivals, Echoes in the Valley Resonance is an “outreach” musical event hosted in collaboration with communities from other parts of Nepal and those that rim the outskirts of Kathmandu Valley. Resonance aims to preserve, promote and witness the changes in diverse traditional performing arts of collaborating communities. The first Resonance will be held on 17 March 2018 in Banepa.
They are raising funds to make this year’s event happen, Night and KANTA dAb dAb will be performing live in this concert. The concert will start from 7 pm onward, so be there to support them.
