Mukti Shakya and Udo Kirch begin singing Nepali folk songs in 1987. Mukti at that point had a band named ‘The Elegance’. Udo Kirch is a German however, this was extraordinary compared to other snapshot of their companionship, music creation, travelling, celebrating, jamming etc.
At last, they chose to take in their all time best ‘Dalli Resham’ for Nepal TV live show. Television was built up recently in Nepal at that time.
Mukti said, “We had a ton of fun playing and Udo, our German friend sang pleasantly in Nepali. He knew what the song was about, but not the Nepali language.”
