Led Zeppelin have announced that they are working on an illustrated book, set tentatively for release in 2018, the 50th anniversary of their formation.
It will be published one year from now to stamp the 50th anniversary of the pioneering UK outfit – and Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones uncovered news of the official book on the band’s Facebook page.
It’ll be distributed by means of Reel Art Press and celebrate the “50 years since the formation of the group.”
The news comes days after Page guaranteed “surprises” to check the anniversary, with the guitarist saying: “There will be a Led Zeppelin item turning out for beyond any doubt that the individuals haven’t heard.
“I’m dealing with that and next year with be the 50th year, so there’s all way of shocks turning out – and after that I want to be believed to play, so I better get on with it!”
Page was likewise behind Led Zeppelin’s extensive 2014/2015 reissue series, which saw remastered and extended versions of every one of the nine of the band’s albums released.
