He is a core member of the rock supergroup Chickenfoot (with Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith) as well as founder of the highly successful G3 tours Born on 15th July, 1956 Joe Satriani got inspired to play guitar from the age of 14 after hearing the death of Jimi Hendrix. He is a 15 times nominee of grammy awards and is the biggest selling instrumental rock guitarist of all time having sold over 10 million albums.
