Mukti N Revival, an idol and a source of inspiration for many young as well as established musicians and band in the Nepalese music industry, is the brainchild of the one and only, the legedary-king of Nepalese blues-Mukti Shakya. With Mukti Shakya as the frontman – lead vocalist as well as the guitarist, the band is the first to have introduced blues in Nepal.
Formed back in the early 90’s, the band has a fan following belonging to different age groups from teenagers to old folks. It has been nearly three decades that Mukti and Revival have been entertaining us with their evergreen blues music. Influenced by western blues, their songs also have a good flavour of rock in them. The current band members include: Mukti Shakya(Guitar/Vocals) Sunit Kansakar(Guitar), Roshan Kansakar (Bass), Nikhil Tuladhar(Drum).
