Formed in 1998 in Pokhara, The Edge came into the Nepali Rock scene with a self titled introduction in 2000. The video of the single ‘Mero Aasu’ from their debut album saw a nation-wide fame surge inside seven days of its official release. The band comprises of lead vocalist as ‘Jeewan’, Bass Guitarist as ‘Rockey’, Drummer as ‘Basanta’, Lead Guitarist as ‘Bishnu’ and ‘Dhiraj’.
After the arrival of the video for ‘Thaha Chaina’ on significant TV channels, its prominence spread far and wide. Since the album release, the band has played around dozen shows in their hometown – Pokhara. They have played various sold-outs including charities and festivals. Their shows are famous for the flawless performance and an effective stage presence.
