“The Kathmandu Jazz Festival 2017” the biggest Jazz Party in the Himalayas starting from tomorrow – Oct 12 to Oct 18 with the motto to bring quality jazz to Nepal, transcend cultural boundaries, and spread the message of peace and compassion through music on the occasion of 15 years anniversary of the event. The event will feature National and International bands and artists and will be held for 6 days.This big event organized by Jazzmandu and sponsored by Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd.
Jazzmandu strives to make the music accessible to as many people as possible by actively including free shows, educational school programs and workshops. This time, the event brought world-class musicians to audiences in Kathmandu. The events includes the artists: Filtron M ‘NepaMali’, Julia Sarr, Palouse Jazz Project, Samuel Wooten ‘Toy Story’, Teerapoj Pitakul Trio, EleKtrip Cadenza Collection, Kanta dAb dAb, Rabin Lal Ensemble, Gandharva Manmohan Thapaliya Sharma, Kiran Nepali and Dhan Bahadur Gurung.
