Kathmandu, on 6th December, 2017, the bands have left for US tour. The event includes band such as Abhaya & the Steam Inguns, famous female singers ‘Astha Raut’, ‘Malina Joshi’ and many other local singers. Abhaya Subba is a Nepalese singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the front woman of the rock band Abhaya & the Steam Injuns. Aastha Raut is singer-songwriter from Nepal whereas Malina Joshi (born 27 January 1989, in Dharan) is a Nepali actress and Miss Nepal 2011.
The event was created by Women in Concert Foundation. It was initially an annual musical event which was for and by the aspiring women musicians in Nepal. Its motive is to spread awareness, sensitization, advocacy on women rights, Violence against Women and Child, Child Labour, Women empowerment.
They will start performing from Cincinnati at 7th October. The event will end in Oklahoma City at 29th October. The detail about the event is given on the picture.
