Bir Bahadur Biswakarma is a 32 year old visually impaired Tungna player, from Listi, Sindhupalchok. Tungna is normally a 4 stringed, once in a while more than 4 string instrument, played by culling. It’s produced using a solitary cut bit of wood and finished with a skin. He took a stab at playing tungna at 16 and following couple of years of struggle he manages to play tungna. He plays in various towns and gathers cash for family of five – his wife and kids.

Kutumba saw the music in him from some random uploads in social medias and decided to grandstand here in Kathmandu with Kutumba’s music. After their performance, they donated some money to Bir Bahadur for clearing his debt and rebuild his house destructed in Earthquake (2015).
