1974 AD is one of the best musical bands of Nepal. The veteran band are amongst the most successful recording artists in Nepal. Most of their albums are ranked among the top-ten best-selling albums, according to a Nepali radio station. Well known for their wide experimentation of music including folk, ragas, rock, funk, blues and jazz. Thanks to this unique USP of the band, they are loved by people from different age groups. In 2000, their concert, the ‘Rock Yatra,’ was watched by more than 60,000 people, the largest attendance for a concert in Nepal.
