Kashmir is an all time favourite song by the Legendary Led Zeppelin. The song was written by Robert Plant and Jimmy Page and is played in a non standard tuning often called as DADGAD tuning. The song has a hypnotic riff and is influenced by some Arabic like stuffs.
Led Zeppelin is one of the most successful and respected band of all time. Formed in London in 1968 the band consisted a total of four members- Robert Plant (Vocalist), Jimmy Page (Lead Guitarist), John Paul Jones (Bassist and Keyboardist), late John Bonham (drummer). However the band dismantled after Bonham died from an alcohol-related asphyxia in 1980.

They have got countless awards some of them being American Music Award in 2005, and the Polar Music Award in 2006. Rolling Stone had named Led Zeppelin the 14th-greatest artist of all time in 2004.
