On August 31, (Thursday) 2017, Singer Rajesh Payal Rai made his appearance in the 32th episode of Nepal Idol to support all the contestants. As well as, has mesmerized to the audiences and judges on the set of Nepal Idol by his amazing voice. He was a guest on this show.
Rajesh Payal Rai is one of the famous Nepali Singer and actor. He is known as a versatile singer in the Nepali music industry. Probably, destined to be a singer, he was praised for his melodious voice and encouraged to continue singing. He took a voice test (Song- Samjhanako Kura Nagara, Lyrics- JG Rai, Music – Shakti Kumar Shrestha ) at his very first attempt and when he was just studying in grade eight.
He has done playback singing for more than one thousand Nepali Movies. As well as he has recorded several private albums such as Darshan Namaste, Rai is King, Syamuna etc. Although, he has sung Japanese and Bhojpuri songs and performed on a worldwide tour and won several musical awards.
On this show, he made honest comments that received applause from audiences. He added that no matter from where we are from, we all are brothers and sisters. He further said that the music field was the only field that was not touched by caste-based discrimination. Even, he sung his hit numbers, Timilai Roje Biswah Gare, Nisthurilai Maya Gare. Enjoy..!!!
