Kathmandu, on August 23,(Wednesday) 2017, renowned pop star Nabin k Bhattarai has performed with backup band Atripta at Durbar, Durbarmarg. He has enthralled the audiences by his rocking performances. He has opened the show with English song. This event has been organized by Durbar and they have fund raised to flood victims in Terai.
Nabin k Bhattrai is legendary musician of Nepali musical industry. He was unknown as a pop star. He was one of the musicians to revolutionize Nepalese pop music. He started his musical career in 1990 with the band “The Steel Wheels” as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the band. After the band disbanded, he pursued a solo career. He was able to capture the attention of many Nepali music lovers with his first released song “Akhama Timilai” from the album “Raharai Raharma” which instantly made him a household in Nepal.He is influenced by western rock bands like Pink Floyd, The Doors and Deep Purple even Nepali singers Suresh Kumar and Kunti Moktan.
On this show, he sang memorable hit numbers with the likes, Chaina Joon Kina, Timiley Herda Kasailai, Fikka Fikka, Raat Betyo Hera, Daar Lagchha, Lakhau Patak, Sayad Timinai, Timilai Maan Parauchu, Timi hou Lakhau ko Dadakan, Sajha Pakha, to name a few.
