Saturday 19, 2017 at Moksh, Legendary Singer and composer Deep Shrestha has performed his nostalgic melodies from 70’s. A fundraising program to support flood victims. 20% of ticket sales will be donated to Flood victims in Terai by organizing team.
Deep shrestha is a legendary singer and composer of Nepal. Born in Dharan in 1950, when he was 14 years old, he composed his first song “Ma Patharko Deuta Haina”. Formally, he started his musical career in late 1990s. That time is deemed as the golden era of Nepali modern music. He has been famous among the audiences since the very beginning of his musical career.
The musical family background could have been one privilege that he got. His father Ustad Jaya Narayan Shrestha was played the violin and the flute. Come from a musical family as he become familiar with other musicians at an early age through his father. His both parents were popular in the eastern region as singers.
He sang many unforgettable hit songs with the likes of “Kati Kamjor”, “Badal Haru”, “Mata DurDhekhi Aaye”, “Biteka kura”, “Har Raat Sapanima”, “Mero Aakhama”, “Jhirma Uninu”, “Ma Sunnai Nasakine” to name a few.
