Heavy Metal Band- Nitro are coming to Nepal and India this September in course of their reunion tour. The band will be joined by Chirs Adlery-the drummer of Lamb God and former metal band Chimaria and Fear Factory bassist Matt DeVries.
The band was originally formed by vocalist Jim Gellete, guitarist Michael Angelo Battio,bassist TJ racer and drummer Bobby Rock in California in the late 80’s(1988). The band reformed recently after breaking up in 1993 and are currently recording for their 3rd album. The band is scheduled to perform in India in between 22th to 28th of September in four major cities. Next, they will be playing in Nepal at Purple Haze Rock Bar,Thamel on the 30th of September. This is the first time the band will be touring this side of the globe although Michale Angelo Battio had already been here 4 years ago for a concert in 2013.
According to Rolling Stone India, Battio said in a statement, “I’ve always loved performing in India. So has Chris. I think it is fantastic that we are touring in India and Nepal for our first tour. Everyone is very excited about it!”
