The band was formed in 2005 by three local boys from Kathmandu. They have Rupesh on vocal, Ashray on rhythm guitar and Ramesh Gurung on lead. The band execute the experience of every single individual’s inner story into their song. The name Kathan defines the chapters of stories of love, frustration, anger, motivation and the phases of life that every individual goes through.
