Kathmandu- On 3rd November 2023, one of the famous band of Nepal, Cobweb will be performing at Purple Haze Rock Bar, Thamel. The gate opens at 6pm and the criteria for entry is 18+ only. The opening act will be of The Apostles.
The hard rock group Cobweb hails from Patan, Nepal. A group of high school classmates in Patan founded the band in 1993 and put out their debut record, “Anjaan.” The debut album did not perform well. Songs like “Maryo ni Maryo” from the second album Cobweb, which was warmly received, paved the path for Nepalese rock to enter the mainstream. In the contemporary Nepalese music scene, the band is regarded as a trend-setter.
