Kathmandu- On 8th September 2023, the famous band of Nepal, Cobweb had performed live in Club Fahrenheit. The performance had started from 6pm onward whereas the main act started from 10:30pm. This announcement was made the the band itself through Facebook stating, “ Club Fahrenheit on 8th Sep 2023, Friday Let’s make some noise. See you cobweb fam”.
The hard rock group Cobweb hails from Patan, Nepal. A group of high school classmates in Patan founded the band in 1993 and put out their debut record, “Anjaan.” The debut album did not perform well. Songs like “Maryo ni Maryo” from the second album Cobweb, which was warmly received, paved the path for Nepalese rock to enter the mainstream. In the contemporary Nepalese music scene, the band is regarded as a trend-setter.
