Kathmandu- Bebe Rexha, who was struck in the face by a cellphone last weekend, begged fans not to hurl phones at her as she took the stage for the first time since the incident.
On Tuesday, June 20, the pop singer returned to the stage at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and joked that she “can’t get another bruise” because she nearly “ate shit like three times” while asking the crew to tidy up the stage wiring.
It was “determined that a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone” at the 33-year-old celebrity, according to a preliminary inquiry by New York City police. Rexha was treated by EMS and brought to a nearby hospital. She had stitches.
