Actor and film director Nilu Dolma Sherpa has passed away apparently due to cardiac arrest on 1st July, Saturday morning. She was a director of Nepali movie “How Funny”. She was found unconscious in her own residence in Baluwatar. When she was taken to Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj, the doctor pronounced her dead.
It was shocking news for all of us. Nilu had returned home after attending the wedding ceremony of actress Nisha Adhikari on 30Th June. And her funeral ceremony is today at Swayambhu where most of the celebrities, friends and families has attended to pay last tribute to her.
Nilu Dolma has directed three beautiful actress Priyanka karki , keki Adhikari and Nisha Adhikari on her first debut film “How Funny”. The “Punte Parade” actor was the first Nepali lesbian film-maker to come out of the closet.
At a time such as this, words cannot express our feelings. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel. May god give strength to his grieved family and friends to withstand the pain and loss. May the departed soul Rest in Peace…!!!!
