Kathmandu- Katy Perry has admitted that she initially passed up a chance to work with Billie Eilish before the latter became famous. Perry recalls learning about Eilish through a coworker at her Capitol Records brand Unsub, who saw potential for the two to collaborate, at a KIIS FM event. According to Perry, “She once sent me an email saying, ‘Hey check out this new artist, I’d really like us to work with her’… I thought it was dull because it was simply a blonde female singing a song called “Ocean Eyes,” so I turned it off.
