Kathmandu- ZAYN MALIK is paying homage to one of the finest musicians. The R&B singer entered the world of rock ‘n’ roll on Friday with the release of “Angel,” a version of the Jimi Hendrix song, which also happened to be the late legend’s 80th birthday.
The track, which was included on the late icon’s posthumous The Cry of Love LP, begins with Hendrix’s trademark guitar. Malik then enters with a powerful vocal performance. Just a few months before he passed away, Hendrix recorded the original song.
