Revolution Tv never fails to come up with ideas to connect viewers with their favorite artists with the most unique content possible. We absolutely loved their “Gears and Riffs” and “My Guitar Collections” Segments. And, now they have come up with INK’D, a fun series where the different artist talks about their tattoos and stories and the meaning behind them. Such fun content.

Satish Sthapit, a highly dedicated music personality who had influenced many musicians back then. Sthapit was the voice and guitarist of Newaz which literally meant Nepali Awaz, along with Roshan kansakar as bassist and Prajwal kansakar on drums.

Newaz, a Nepalese rock band influenced by Blues, Punk, and Grunge, introduced Blues to the Nepali music industry for 3 decades now. Sathish left the band in between when he had to leave the country for Australia for personal reasons. He was a sound engineer by profession there. Hence, In 2008, Satish was back and since then the band has been active. Newaz has released 3 albums like self-titled debut Newaz (1990), Kichkandi (2008), and In Black (2013) to date.
