Singer Prakash Saput is all over the internet for the last few days like he always does after releasing his songs. But this time his new song ‘PIR’ hasn’t only caught audience interaction and critiques on it, but also has got a lot of political attention. While few are supporting the song and few have demanded to get it deleted from YouTube, the song remains at trending no 1. in Nepal. 
In his song ‘PIR’ he has the visual setting of the Maoist Revolution in Nepal. Many are summarizing the song as a dedication to all the contributors who fought for the change but their own status didn’t change. And it has caught quite political attention and few have done press releases to remove the song from YouTube while the previous commander of the Maoist revolution Baburam Bhattrai has openly praised the song saying it’s the actual representation of failed revolution.
Saput is nowadays considered as a singer who reflects the actual societal imageries in his songs. His previous songs like Dohori battle, Bola Maya, Galbandi Chyatiyo, etc got very popular among the audience.
