The Indie trio “Phosphenes” released their often teased album “Sullen Days” a few days ago. Their album was out on Noodles already back in July and gathered immense love from their loyal yet loving fans. The album comprises 14 awesome numbers with a bonus of two Nepali songs. Yes, you heard me right Nepali song by phosphenes and the songs are to die for. It feels like “Prateek Kuhad” is singing a Nepali song, with a far better set of melodies.
The band has uploaded their Nepali number from the album “Yestai Nai Hola” on YouTube and trust us it’s a real Indie gem. Music, lyrics, and vocals everything matches perfectly with the vibe of the song. And, the music video, OMG where do we even start on that. Video is real fun with the bitter reality of our government. And, the lyrics are trying to illustrate that that ever they do, we keep on waiting thinking “yestai nai hola” rather than taking action, even if it’s on our hands to do so. A real frustration of every youth in our country.
