The Grammy-nominated US singer, Mike Posner has successfully conquered Mount Everest on Tuesday morning. Posner was accompanied by the team of Dawa Chhiring Sherpa, John Kedrowski and Dawa Dorje Sherpa. The major motive of Posner to climb Mount Everest was to raise funds for the Detroit Justice Center in honour of his late father. He said his father was a criminal defence attorney in Detroit for 40 years before passing.
“That’s what I call a sunrise. We are now back at camp 2 but not out of the woods until we descend to base camp tomorrow am. Please keep us in your prayers,” Posner tweeted on Tuesday.
