Singer Ram Krishna Dhakal has handed over around 18 lakh rupees to Mahabir Pun’s National Innovation Center to provide collected amount to various organizations assisting for the Covid relief.
Dhakal went to America for a cultural show but had to stop there due to the Covid pandemic. Numerous people are undergoing a lot of difficulties due to Covid in Nepal. He wanted to support those people. So, he heartily requested Nepali inhabitants in America for aid. With the collaboration of Nepalese and Bhutanese people in America, he collected around 18 lakh rupees. He also contributed $500 personally for the aid.
He has posted a full list of donors and amount on his Facebook account. He has thanked everyone who supported him to raise funds. And he is hoping for more help from others too.
