Singer cum social activist Yogeshwar Amatya posted a video in his Facebook handle appealing health ministry not to interrupt any private sectors to bring up Covid vaccines. He says “if the government can’t then let private sectors bring up the covid vaccines”. He also mentioned that his family is still not vaccinated. Kathmandu is the capital of the country, many people aren’t vaccinated yet. He is worried about what might be the condition of the village areas. He also requests the government to provide free vaccines to rural habitats and make them available sooner as possible to everyone.

Amatya is also a philanthropist, photographer, and musician. He is a well-known Nepali soft rock singer. He came into fame in Nepal with his album ‘Jaba Sandhaya Huncha’ and became more famous with his 1998 song ‘Karai kara le’.
