After elimination of a contestant in the episode of Thursday, Nepal Idol Season 3 enters the top 3 round or the Grand Finale round.
The series of performances began with the performance of Kiran K Bhujel of the song “Saili” by Hemanta Rana. His performance led to the standing ovations from all the judges which means a “Respect” moment. Moreover, after the performance, the judge Nhyoo Bajracharya sent a message to the public to elect proper politicians as representatives so that the condition of Nepal improves and no people had to go for foreign employment as the song speaks about.
After Bhujel’s performance, Sajja Chaulagain soothed the stage with a performance of the song “Phoolko Aankha Ma” by Ani Choying Drolma. The judges became emotional with this rendition of her to award her the “Respect” moment as well.
The performance of Prabin Bedwal of the song “Birahi Ko Bhaka Le” by Sonu Nigam followed Chaulagain’s performance. He received average response from the judges and didn’t reach the expectations of the judges.
Finally, Kevin Glan Tamang performed the song “Jaba Sandhya Hunchha” by Yogeshwar Amatya. He too received the “Respect” moment from the judges for his improvisations.
Finally, Sajja Chaulagain and Kevin Glan Tamang did hat-tricks on the awards “Performance of The Day” and “Glamor Moment of The Day” respectively with the performances of this episode. However, Kevin Glan Tamang has to end his journey of Nepal Idol, which leaves the remaining three for the Grand Finale round.
