Chaubandi Choli is an evergreen song by the Legendary rock band 1974 AD. It appeared on their third album Samjhi Baschu. The song released in 1998 with the original lineup, Phiroj Shyangden, Adrian Pradhan, Manoj Kumar KC, Nirakar Yakthumba and Sanjay kumar Shrestha is finally getting its music video after decades.  1974 AD have announced the release of the music video via their official Youtube channel today at 5 PM.

Since their origin in 1994, 1974 AD has been known for songs that brought Nepalese together. The band have been able to set a benchmark introducing Nepal to blues, rock, funk, reggae and jazz, but with unquestionable Nepali flavor. Most of their albums are ranked among the top-ten best-selling albums according to Hits FM of Nepal.In 2000, their concert, ‘Rock Yatra,’ was watched by more than 60,000 people, the largest attendance for a concert in Nepal. Since then, the band has done 10 albums, among their biggest hits were ‘Samjhi Baschu’, ‘Parelima’, ‘Yo Mann ta Mero Nepali ho’, ‘Sambodhan Timilai’ and ‘Hidda Hiddai’.

After six years of inactivity and incoming and outgoing of new faces, the band surprised their fans with a reunion and a new musical album, “Nirantarata”, released 8th of November,2019. The new album consists of 7 songs including one instrumental by session musician Manose Singh.
