The famous rapper Common revealed his dark past of being molested as a child to the public.
The Oscar and Grammy winning rapper and actor is currently on a press tour for his new memoir, “Let Love Have the Last Word,” where he discussed about his experience in his interview about the project.
On Tuesday, he opened to TMZ telling why he is sharing the dark truth as he wants people to adopt an attitude of “I’ve experienced this and I can say something about it and find out how to heal myself when I’m dealing with it.”
In the recently published book, Common composed out of the blue about being assaulted in his companion’s home amid a sleepover. After the molestation, Common said he “felt a deep and sudden shame for what happened.” In the book, Common expounded on recalling the experience all of a sudden, saying it had been stifled preceding taking a shot at the 2018 film The Tale with Laura Dern.
