Bir Bahadur Biswakarma is a 34 year old visually impaired Tungna player, from Listi, Sindhupalchok. Tungna is usually a 4 stringed, sometimes more than 4 stringed instrument, played by plucking. It’s made from a single carved piece of wood and topped with a skin.
Bir Bahadur Biswakarma tried playing tungna at 16 and after few years of struggle he managed to play tungna. He plays in different villages and collect money for his family of five his wife and kids.
